Halloween Candy for Soldiers

Support our Troops with Snacks!

Halloween is over and I know you have tons of candy, like seriously, way more than you need. You can use some of that candy to make a difference. Send it to U. S. troops stationed overseas. They didn’t get to celebrate Halloween at home this year, and opening a care package with your Halloween candy would really cheer them up. Plus, they might share some of the candy with local kids where they are stationed, spreading the love all over the world!

Here’s what to do:

  • Check with your parents first to make sure it’s ok.
  • Pack up your extra Halloween candy in a box.
  • Mail it to the address below by December 5.

Operation Gratitude/California Army National Guard
17330 Victory Boulevard
Van Nuys, CA 91406
Attn: Angel Cuevas/Receiving

While you’re at it, why not write a nice letter and include it with your candy? A simple “Thanks for all you do!” would make the package that much sweeter for a serviceman or woman. But remember, never give your personal information to a stranger – no last names, addresses, or phone numbers!

Leave a Comment and tell us how much candy YOU are giving to the troops.

it`s okay. You could maybe comment and give a good-luck shout-out to our troops! I did that, if you were wondering where the heck I got that idea.

Even though I am not giving any candy because I am not allowed to, I would like to wish good luck to our troops. Troops, you will be brave, stable, and ready to fight like men and women! Go!

I don’t think I can my mom is all computer safe and everything safe. I barely got any candy I don’t think it would be enough……and this is true.

I think that would be nice because they serve our country and they deserve to enjoy it as well.It would be cool because you probably don’t need all of that candy. So it should go to other people that might not have got any candy. They might be surprised. It would be very nice to donate your candy to the U.S. troops.

I think that this is really nice because it can really make that person really happy and it will also make you feel amazing, because you know someone is happy for the cause of something good you did. It is is unexplainable.
