Mickey’s Christmas Carol (6:30 ABC Family) Donald Duck as Scrooge is classic!
A Charlie Brown Christmas (8pm ABC) I can hear the Peanuts music playing already.
Wednesday Dec. 4
The Annoying Orange “Fruitsy the Snowfruit” (8pm Cartoon Network) Things get a little too merry with this new fruit.
Christmas in Rockefeller Center (8pm on NBC) The Christmas tree in New York City’s Rockefeller Center has been going up since 1933.
Thursday Dec. 5
Rudolph’s Shiny New Year (6pm ABC Family) Have you seen the sequel to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer?
The Polar Express (7pm ABC Family) Chris Van Allsburg’s classic picture book becomes a holiday adventure.
Friday Dec. 6
Frosty’s Winter Wonderland (6pm ABC Family) Frosty’s friends build the snowman a wife in this sequel to the original Frosty story.
The Muppet Christmas Carol (6:30pm ABC Family) Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit is priceless! Frosty the Snowman (8pm CBS) Who could forget “Happy Birthday!” instead of “Merry Christmas!”?A.N.T. Farm, Dog with a Blog, and Wander Over Yonder all have Christmas episodes starting at 8pm on Disney.
Saturday Dec. 7
A Christmas Carol (rated PG) (2:30pm ABC Family) Jim Carrey plays Scrooge AND all 3 ghosts.
The Santa Clause (rated PG) (7pm ABC Family) Always a funny movie!
Sunday Dec 8
Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon) (3pm TBS) One of the best Christmas cartoons ever. Random time slot, so set your recorders!
Monday Dec. 9
Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town (8pm ABC) The Rankin/Bass stop-motion animation is a classic! It’s also just fun to say “Burgermeister Meisterburger.”
Tuesday Dec. 10
A Chipmunk Christmas (6pm ABC Family) Alvin! ALVIN!
Saturday Dec. 14
It’s a Wonderful Life (8:00pm on NBC) A true classic Christmas movie in good ol’ black and white. (If you miss it, it’s also on Christmas Eve.)
Frosty Returns (CBS 8:30) Not as good as the original, but still fun to see Frosty again!
Monday Dec. 16
Prep & Landing / Prep & Landing 2 (ABC 8pm) Oh, those crazy elves.
Wednesday Dec. 18
The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2013 (The CW 8pm) Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Selena Gomez and more perform live at Madison Square Garden in NYC. I’ve always heard about this, but never seen it on TV!
Thursday Dec. 19
Eloise at Christmastime (7pm ABC Family)
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys (7pm ABC Family) Rudolph and his friends return.
Saturday Dec. 21
I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown (8pm ABC)
The Santa Clause Movie Trilogy Marathon (rated PG) (6pm ABC Family) All three of the Santa Clause movies will screen back-to-back.
Sunday December 22
Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (rated PG) (7pm ABC Family) This time, Jim Carrey plays the Grinch.
The Year Without a Santa Claus (7pm ABC Family ) Another Rankin/Bass stop-motion animation special.
Shrek the Halls (TV PG) (8pm ABC)
It’s a Wonderful Life (8pm NBC). Don’t miss it!
A Christmas Story (8pm TBS) Another one of the most beloved holiday movies of all time, this will be on repeat for 24 hours.
Wednesday Dec. 25 Christmas Day
Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade (10am ABC) Taped inside Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, this annual celebration features Disney characters in a stunning parade.
A Christmas Story (rated PG) (TBS all day marathon) Favorite. Christmas. Movie. EVER.
Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas (rated PG) (8pm FOX)
Also, already aired (Talk about the early birds!) were Disney Channel’s “Good Luck Jessie” which was a crossover Good Luck Charlie and Jessie episode. Then there were Christmas Liv & Maddie and Austin & Ally episodes, but look for them to re-air throughout December. Whew! And that’s a sack full of holiday cheer.
