Is that a dog or a frog?! Check out the tongue on Filly! It's got to be the longest dog tongue ever! I bet touching her tongue to her nose is no problem (I'm kinda jealous – I’ve always wanted to be able to do that). If I had to come up with a caption for this photo, I think it'd be this:
“Is that the best you've got? You do know that my tongue is a weightlifting superstar, don’t you? Tennis ball? Way too easy. Gimme a basketball. This isn’t Little League. Gimme something I can work with.”

Here's one fabulous looking pup! Killy looks like she enjoys the snow, but her natural environment is definitely center stage. Look at the sass in that pose. There's definitely a lot of diva in this dog.

Create a Caption: Holiday Cat
Many of you know I have 2 insane cats, so obviously, I do not have a Christmas tree in my apartment. I can only imagine the mayhem I would come home to if I left those 2 alone with a tree full of dangling, glittery things for them to play with/destroy. Today's Create a Caption photo demonstrates my problem perfectly.

Goosebumps Create a Caption
He's the evil puppet everyone loves to hate! Slappy has been scaring readers since the release of Goosebumps: Night of the Living Dummy in 1993. With his painted-on grin and beat up bow-tie, Slappy looks like an ordinary ventriloquist dummy. But looks can be very deceiving. This troublemaking block of wood is anything but dumb! He's a walking, talking, trash-talking terror!

Look at how cool this Boxer puppy named Liddia is. She looks way too cool for school, just chillin' at the park, letting it all hang out.
She looks like a trend-setting pooch to me. If I had to come up with a caption for this, I think Liddia would say:

It's Guinness World Records time again -- that crazy time of year when we post a Create a Caption for the new Guinness World Records book. 3 years ago, we had the photo of the guy who holds the record for wearing the most T-shirts at once. 2 years ago, it was the kid who holds the world record for balancing the most spoons on his face. Last year, it was dogs skipping rope.

Recently, Scholastic asked some grown-ups to send in photos of their dogs for a special Dog of the Week contest. The sillier or cuter, the better! We loved them so much we thought it would be fun to feature these award-winning dogs in an Ink Splot 26 post dedicated to doggie awesomeness.
