August Books of the Month

The Books of the Month series continues! Here’s how it works. You write the titles of the books you are reading right now, and I make a word cloud out of all your recommendations. Remember, the more votes a title gets, the bigger the print. This month it looks like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and The Hunger Games (for ages 12 and up) are in a dead tie. Take a look.AugustBooks

Keep the Comments coming for next month’s Book Wordle! Leave a Comment with the title of the book you are reading right now, and I will make a new word cloud of all our reads for the whole month.

I really like the book series Deltora Quest by Emily Rodda.
It’s clever, has puzzles, is well written, and is an unforgettable adventure novel. However, it can be graphic for younger readers. But is otherwise a great for readers ages 10 and up. It can usually be found in your local library.

Twice Upon A Time is another great series by Wendy Mass.
The series puts a nice twist on classic fairy tales in the prince and princess’s point of view. The book series includes the tales of Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty. Each book also has a humorous, care-free subtitle, such as: Rapunzel: The One With All The Hair. And is, again, very well written. It can be found in book stores.

  4. BOBBY

Nickel Plated By Aric Davis (age 12 and up)

This is one of the best books of all time and a must read.

    Alabama Moon

Another amazing read you have to read this amazing story of a boy who lives on his own.
