Character Confidential: 3 Questions for Peeta

Posted by at 6:13 am in Reads | Permalink

HungergamesLike everyone here at Scholastic.com, I devoured The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins’ book for ages 12 and up. It is definitely the best book I have read all year, and that even includes Inkdeath (which I also loved)!

One of the most intriguing Hunger Games characters for me was Peeta. When I met Suzanne Collins, I asked her about Peeta, and she said that his gift is to make people think that he is being genuine. But what does that mean? Is he not really being genuine? We will have to wait for the next books to come out to find out, but in the meantime, here are my questions for Peeta:

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t read the book yet, you may want to avoid these questions!

1. Are your feelings for Katniss “genuine”? Or was that just part of your strategy?
2. What was going through your mind in the minute before the game started?
3. How did you survive those first few days with the pack? Why did they not kill you right away?

What would YOU ask Peeta if you had the chance?

    3)how he feels about gale
4)what was his thought when the hovercraft picked him and johnanna(is that spelled right?)up
5)what was it like in the first hunger games?
    a)being with the careers?
b)saving katniss after the tracker jacker attack
