If you loved the first three movies (like I did), you’ll be excited to hear that it’s been officially announced: the fourth book in the Chronicles of Narnia Series, The Silver Chair, is going to be made into a movie! Though there’s no date set just yet for when the movie will come out in theaters, Narnia fans are all just really happy to know that it is on its way.
For those of you who haven’t read the book (yet), The Silver Chair follows Eustace and his best friend Jill, who escape from the bullies at school through a strange door in the wall, which, for once, is unlocked. It leads to the open moor . . . or does it? Once again, Aslan has a task for the children, and Narnia needs them. Through dangers untold and caverns deep and dark, they pursue the quest that brings them face to face with the evil Witch. She must be defeated if Prince Rillian is to be saved.
The Silver Chair is also the first book without the Kings and Queens of Old (Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy), who were played by William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley.
