Have you read the book Swindle by Gordon Korman? I LOVE that book! It was one of my top 5 books in 2008 when it came out, and since then, Korman has written 4 other books in the series: Zoobreak, Framed, Showoff, and Hideout.

So. . . .yeah, I’m excited for the Nickelodeon original TV movie, Swindle, premiering Saturday, Aug. 24, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Plus, look’s who’s in it: Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande from Sam & Cat; Noah Crawford and Chris O’Neal from How to Rock; Ciara Bravo from Big Time Rush; and iCarly’s Noah Munck! How can it not be fun?Swindle movie cast photo

In Swindle, an evil collector cons Griffin (played by Crawford) out of a million-dollar baseball card that could have saved his best friend’s (played by O’Neal) home, so he unites a ragtag group of his classmates (McCurdy, Grande, Bravo, and Munck) to take down the swindler. It’s a valiant adventure that will take them through daring heists, crazy disguises, and a pie fight face-off, but throughout it all, the kids have to bring their skills together as a team to get justice. The book is fast-paced and funny, and I am so curious to see if the movie will be as good.Ariana Grande in Swindle

Read Chapter 1 here to get a taste. And to get even more psyched, play the Swindle Spot the Difference Game. (I only got 3 out of 9. This game is IMPOSSIBLE!)

Are you a Swindle fan? Will you be watching the movie? Let us know in the Comments.

I loved the movie swindle so much. It is amazing that they have the book. What I like about the movie books is that you can read the book rather than watch the movie because reading is much more better than sitting around all day and watching something on a screen. I can’t wait to get the book.
