Ever wanted an excuse to dress up as Luke Skywalker, Padme Amidala, Han Solo, or Darth Vader on a day that's not Halloween? We've got just the thing for you: the Star Wars Costume Pageant! A part of the Star Wars Celebration (a convention for Star Wars fans of all ages), the Star Wars Costume Pageant is being held on August 24th and 25th in Orlando, Florida. It is a chance for super-fans to show off their dress-up skills. There will be Ewoks, Jedi knights, Sith Lords, Emperors, Wookies, Princesses, and maybe even some George Lucases! If photos from past years are any indication, the costumes are gonna be excellent.
Just look at this adorable Princess Leia! Isn't she precious? She's SO ready to save the galaxy!

If I was able to throw a costume pageant party, I would make it Harry Potter themed because that is my favorite book series ever!!! Everyone would get to dress up as their favorite Harry Potter character. Most people would problobly dress up as Harry Potter or Hermione Granger but I would want to be someone who nobody would dress up as.The character I would dress up as is Luna Lovegood because of her unique personality and clothing.

If I could throw my own costume pageant, it would be about greek gods and goddesses. I would dress up as Athena because she is one of my favorite goddesses.

Well, I would do The 39 clues theme and if you have never heard of The 39 Clues the author is Rick Riordan.

omg why can't they have things like where I live? D8 oh well. I love Star Wars, but I'd TOTALLY have a Superhero pageant (mainly Marvel, but DC characters are welcome too)

I wouldn't do a pageant because I think it is silly to judge who's "prettiest".
