Pizza Trivia Quiz

It seems like you can get everything from a vending machine nowadays: swim trunks, cupcakes, DVDs, iPods, bars of gold, live crabs, bicycles, sneakers, umbrellas, cell phones . . . and now, customized pizza. That's right, folks. The Let's Pizza machine kneads dough, spreads sauce, adds toppings, and cooks the pizza of your choice, all under 3 minutes! That's totally crazy.

In other pizza news, Brooklyn-based artist Steph Mantis has developed the "Ninja Throwing Slices," Ninja stars made from actual slices of pepperoni pizza preserved in clear Lucite. (I wonder if there's a vegetarian option?) Seems like pizza's a hot trend nowadays, so why not have a little Pizza Trivia Quiz?

Create a Caption: Saint Bernard Dogs

CreateacaptionCreate a Caption: Saint Bernard Dogs

Recently, Scholastic asked some grown-ups to send in photos of their dogs for a special Dog of the Week contest. The sillier or cuter, the better! We loved them so much we thought it would be fun to feature these award-winning dogs in an Ink Splot 26 post dedicated to doggie awesomeness.

Take, for example, this picture of the Chatham Pack:

Now, that is one COOL dog. If I had to give this photo a caption, it would definitely be this:

“No one on the corner has swagga like us.”

What do you guys think? What caption would you give this picture?  Give us your captions in the Comments!

Also, out of curiosity: which pups are cuter?

ZGordon-1You know him as Greg Heffley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. I met him when he came to Scholastic for a Live Chat a couple of years ago before the 1st Wimpy Kid movie came out. He was hilarious and adorable in real life, much more than Greg would be. We now have a new interview with him after his 3rd Wimpy Kid movie. Read on for Zach's current reflections on his life as an actor, his favorite books, and his hopes for the future.
