Kid Power! Kids can make a difference! Every Thursday on Ink Splot 26, we'll show you a new idea for how YOU can make the world a better place.
The holidays are coming! Aside from staying warm and spending time with your family, it is a time to get and give gifts! But there are many children whose parents can't afford to buy them gifts this year. If you have a little extra money, you can help make it a happy holiday season for a child in need by donating to Toys for Tots.

Toys for Tots is a program sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to deliver presents to needy children. - How
Buy any gift from this Toys for Tots Holiday Wish List and drop it off (unwrapped) at a Toys for Tots collection box. - Where
There are collection boxes at every Toys R Us and Babies R Us store, but there may be collection boxes at other places in your community, too. - When
Before December 6
If you don't have any money to buy something yourself, ask your parents to buy the gift and give you 1 less gift this year. It is a small sacrifice on your part that will make a huge difference to a needy child. When you are opening all your presents, you can think about the other person who is also having a happy holiday because of you!
Listen to your heart for creative ideas to help others, and remember that a little act of kindness goes a long way. Happy Holidays!

i think thats thats toys for tots can make a big difference for a child in need :)

I've seen Toys for Tots boxes at Safeway too. It feels really nice knowing that you're helping kids like you that have a lot less. Knowing that a lucky kid's merry Christmas has just become merrier is a really glorious feeling. I've already donated 10 items. KID POWER!!

Wow, thats such a great idea that the U.S Marine have decided to do something very generouse for the kids who need toys for christmas.I'v already donated 12 things. My mom and I did it because we use to kinda be like that so my mom decided to do it for them so that everyone can feel happy on Christmas day:)!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!

i dont know where to there is a toys for tots???? i dont live by a safeway though. post where more can be found.

At my school there's this HUGE toys for tots bin in the lobby, I've been bringing in some of my stuffed animals every week for the past 5 months.
