However, Solveig is not your average princess. The main character of Matthew J. Solveig also becomes the apprentice of Alric, a storyteller in the king’s court, who spends time teaching Solveig the craft. But, as winter creeps in, so does a spy. An unknown intruder attempts to sabotage their stay, and Solveig is unsure if one of her father’s enemies has infiltrated their fortress, or if there is a spy in their midst.
