Famous Left-Handers Trivia Quiz

Qmark_130August 13 is International Left-Handers Day! Who would have known there was an international holiday celebrating left-handed people all over the world? Only my clever editor at Scholastic of course. So if you aren't celebrating already, get ready for the festivities with this Famous Lefties Quiz. All the answers are the names of famous left-handed people.

  1. Name our current Commander in Chief, who happens to be a left-hander.
  2. This famous Adventures of Tom Sawyer author was a lefty.
  3. The lead singer of the band Coldplay is actually ambidextrous. He writes with his left hand, and draws with his right hand. Who is he?
  4. This famous New York Yankees player known as “The Babe” was left-handed.
  5. He painted the Sistine Chapel and sculpted “David” during the Italian Renaissance with his left hand.
  6. He invented the “Model T Ford” back in 1908, which was the first Ford car.
  7. This “Baby” singer swears to “Never Say Never.”
