Word of the Day Writing Prompt

Writingprompt_book Hi everyone. You may know that we have a STACKS widget called Word of the Day. Every day it gives you a cool new word to add to your voluminous vocabulary. (Voluminous was the word of the day last December. It means large, as in, it could fill volumes.)

I got the inspiration for today's Writing Prompt from SoccerBoarder on the STACK Back Message Board, who had the genius idea to use the Word of the Day in her own sentence. The word that day was "indolence," which means laziness, so here is SoccerBoarder's awesome sentence:

It was with great INDOLENCE that I practiced my flute this afternoon instead of going outside.

Your writing challenge now is to get the Word of the Day for whatever day you happen to be reading this, and write your own sentence in the Comments. You have to be signed in to your Profile to get the Word of the Day, so make sure to do that first! From your Profile, click the button that says "Add More" next to MySTACK. Then add Word of the Day to your Profile.

I can't wait to see your exceptional, ingenious, and perspicacious sentences!

Hi Koala,
Thanks for checking our spelling! Parameters is actually spelled correctly. Perimeter is a totally different word with a different meaning - and a great suggestion for word-of-the-day! I think I'm going to use that one next month. Thanks!
