STACKS Live ChatI had such a blast last Wednesday at my very first Stacks Live Chat! A whole bunch of you guys were there talking about The 39 Clues and it was so fun! (The transcript is here, AND we are sending Patrick Carman some of your extra questions that he didn’t have time to answer. We’ll keep you posted on that!)

If you weren’t there, we missed you!! But you should definitely come join the next one in September, ok?

WHEN: Tuesday, September 15, 2009 6-7 p.m. ET
TOPIC: Top 3 Books from the Kids’ Choice Poll

Here is some info about the books in case you haven’t read them all!

I haven’t read any of these books! I agree with liltrinity in his last statement. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the 39 Clues should be in there! They would be my top three! PLEASE PUT THEM IN! I WOULD LOVE TO TALK ABOUT EITHER ONE OF THOSE FANTASTIC BOOKS!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by a landslide. It’s way more funny than the rest of the stuff. I chose Ripley’s as my second choice, though (amazing book!) and my third choice was The Tale of Desperaux, which I thought was pretty good. How I Survived Middle School doesn’t seem to describe middle school at all, as far as I could gather from the one time I read it. Frindle was good but not AS good as the others I chose. I began reading Island of the Blue Dolphins and the writing style was a bit too slow for me. The others I haven’t read and didn’t sound interesting.
I just wish the live chat could be about Percy Jackson or another one about the 39 Clues or Harry Potter or something like that.
