Celebrate Children's Book Week!
Get out the popcorn, find your favorite chair, and get hold of either your favorite books or some books you've been wanting to read -- because May 11th through May 17th, it's Children's Book Week!
Throughout all of next week, the Children's Book Council will be putting on events in locations all over the United States. Click here to see if the events will be held in your area. However, if your city is not involved in any of the events, don’t worry — there are numerous ways to celebrate! You can test your skills with Children's Book Week puzzles, help authors finish their stories, download the official Children's Book Week bookmark, and more! Check out all of the cool activities on the site.
But the best part of Children's Book Week is that you get to vote on your favorite books, authors, and illustrators! Vote right here!
After you're done checking out all these cool activities and books, tell us which book, author, or illustrator you think should be on the ballot. And check last year's winners.

In my opinion the book of the week should be,"Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception." It is an absolutely thrilling book. The adventures, surprises, twists. A life will be lost. An adventure of a life time. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKS WITH SECRETS AND A SURPRISING nail-bitting suspence. Read this book to your advantage.
