Sometimes I do things a little backwards. Which is why when I saw this amazing video interview with Jim Benton . . . I decided he was my new absolute favorite author without ever having read anything he wrote.

Then, to prove myself right, I read the first three books in the Dear Dumb Diary series. And I was! Jamie Kelly is wonderfully snarky and hilarious. Jamie's diary is filled with all the mean things you only wish you had the guts to say about those blonde, zone-shampooing, stuck-up girls named Angeline. And I can't wait to see what happens next in Jamie's epic quest for popularity.

hey I love dear dumb diary when Iused to get made fun of because i had these cool stylish cherry red round glasses i couldn't see with out they helped me throw it so thank auther dumbo dear dairy!!! Thank snort snort

OMG!!! I LOVE HIM HES MY FAVORITE AUOTHER HIS BOOKS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sended him an email from his website syaing that he rocks... And he DOES. ;]

I'd give all my storybooks away for reading book 11 and 12 early!!! I own all 10 of the DDD series! They Are So Cool!!! Jim Benton should write 50 of them(that's what I THINK)!!!

I'd go bankrups if Jim Benton decided to stop writing and leave it as 10 books!!! I wonder when does book 12 come. I hope book 11 comes out at Jan.1st, 2011 at exactly 0:00 o'Clock!!!
