Trivia Tuesday: Transfiguration Trivia

The Tales of Beedle the Bard In case you were distracted by all that Thanksgiving turkey, don't forget that The Tales of Beedle the Bard comes out this Thursday! And for all of you who would never forget a single detail about Harry, here's a trivia question for you:

In the Harry Potter series, what are the rules that govern transfiguration? What things cannot be created through transfiguration?

My guess is magicial objects? I have no idea besides that...

You can't transfigure things into food. Becuase Hermione was saying how you can't just make good food out of nowhere. Love cannot be made because that was what love potion is for! And i think that people can't be transformed because that is what Poly Juice Potion must be for too.

The Five Exceptions to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration! Hermione tells the boys about that in DH, and Ron mentions it again just before the battle.

Food, I don't think she mentions the rest, but everyone is saying money, so...MONEY!lol

You can't create objects out of nothing. You can Transfigure them, but it would still technically be what it originally was.
