Trivia Tuesday: Guess the Quotes

The following quotes are from what book?

"To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."
"There is no good or evil: only power and those too weak to seek it."

If you said Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, then you're correct. Okay, well, that was probably super easy right? Try your mind and memory at the following quotes. Let's just see how smart you are now!

Fine, I'll give you one little hint first: they're all in the Action & Adventure genre.

Quote #1:"It's amazing you survived. Their powers of deception . . . almost any male hero would've fallen under their spell and been devoured."

Quote #2:"Let's face the facts: all-powerful I may be, but I'm a novice at this, so taking off from where you landed is vital. If you go beyond three days, then you are stuck in the past.”

Quote #3: "The energy will have to come from you. It won't be much, but it will still reduce your stamina by a certain amount."

Quote #4: "That's what the others are probably doing. But we're going to follow where he went next, like follow his life."

Quote #5: "He was guided by impulse, and that was his downfall. I pray that you and I will be more fortunate."

Quote #6: "He made you look desirable! And let's face it, you can use all the help you can get in that department."

Check back on Thursday for a few hints! Answers will be revealed next Tuesday. Good luck!

I've heard that in so many books--"It's amazing you survived." But the
rest of it sounds vaguly familiar...It kinda sounds like harpies, with
the male things and all...It could be Percy and the Olimpians, or
something like that, but then again that wouldn't make much sense since
it was the girl who really did fall for the harpies...Okay, now I'm
just rambling! :)

How are we supposed to figure them out!!!!!???

I only know #3. I think it is Inkheart? Somehow, even though the title
has nothing to do with "fire", it reminds of fire, as it has a lot of
that in the books.

1 is questionable... I think Greek I don't read that many greek books Percy and the Olymipians.
2 It almost sounds like the Wings of Merlin books
I know i've read it.
3 Brisingr
4 no idea
5 One of Philp Pullman's Books... The first one
6 Gail Carson Levine's Fairest

1.Percy Jackson and The Olympians series Book 4:The Battle Of the Labyrinth.
