I can tell you all about the books I'm reading right now, but somehow that's not as interesting as the books that are getting the celebrities excited. And I have the books that stars like AnnaSophia Robb from Race to Witch Mountain, Jennette McCurdy from iCarly, and Randall Bentley from Heroes and more are reading! Check it out:
"I like Mary Bloody Mary, about King Henry VIII and Mary Queen of Scots. I like reading about history"
—Ariel Winter, Speed Racer |

"Miss Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. It's really good"
—Jansen Panettiere

"I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings. I've read every single one. And Elder and Eragon. I'm a huge nerd" —Randall Bentley, Heroes

"I read this great book called A Pickpocket Tale. It's about a girl pickpocket who gets caught by the constable and goes to America. And the whole time, she's trying to get back to London, but she doesn't have the money. And then she realizes she doesn't know if she wants to go back"
—Madison Davenport, Kit Kittredge

"I love to read. I haven't had a ton of time, though, with school and finals and everything, but I love the book A Summer of Kings. I'm trying to make that into a movie. It's a great story"
—AnnaSophia Robb, Race to Witch Mountain

"I like The Catcher in the Rye, that kind of story. To Kill a Mockingbird."
—Josh Hutcherson

"I just read Lord of the Flies. It's a little creepy but unique and creative"
—Jennette McCurdy, iCarly

"One of my favorite books I read when I was younger was Matilda. I like magic, and I like mysteries."
—Sabrina Bryan, Cheetah Girls

"I'd recommend Hill Harper's Letters to a Young Brother. He also has one for girls, Letters to a Young Sister. It's very inspiring. It's helped me build myself into a better man. Thank you, Hill Harper. I haven't met him yet, but hopefully he's out there."
—Tristan Wilds, 90210

"I'm such a Shakespeare freak. I'd love to play Hamlet. In the past, Ophelia and all those roles were played by guys, so why can't I play Hamlet? It's such a deep role, so brilliant."
—Debby Ryan, Suite Life on Deck

These stars were interviewed for the Scholastic school magazines (like Scope, Action, and Junior Scholastic), so make sure you keep an eye out for the full interviews at school and on the web in Scholastic News Online's special section just for entertainment news!
