Stine to Scare!

The Scholar of Scary, the Monster Machine, the Expert of Eerie, the Craftsman of Creepy...call him what you want, but there is no doubt that R. L. Stine is definitely one of the greatest children's horror fiction novelists of all time!

Perhaps you have only heard of his best selling series, Goosebumps (first published in 1992), but I was first introduced to R. L. Stine through his young adult thriller series, Fear Street. Along with Christopher Pike, Stine dominated the young adult thriller fiction market in the early 1990s.

In addition to his classic Goosebumps and Fear Street series, Stine has also recently released the Mostly Ghostly series, the Rotten School series, the Goosebumps HorrorLand series, and many other stand-alone chilling and terrifying best-sellers.

With all these chart-topping horror novels and series by Stine, it makes me wonder...how many nightmares has he been responsible for throughout the years?

As Halloween nears, you should absolutely check out one of R. L. Stine's many books. However, I recommend that you may want to keep the lights on and an extra person around just in case.
